The Story Behind Fly Fearless
There’s a moment I come back to a lot.
Before the LLC. Before the website. Before I knew what any of this would actually look like, I had a picture in my head. Not a business plan. A feeling. I knew what it was going to be like to help someone the way I wanted to help them, and I knew what it was going to feel like to run something that was mine.
I didn’t have the language for client experience yet. I didn’t know that would end up being the whole thing. I just knew I was tired of watching good work get buried under bad process, and I wanted to build something that didn’t do that to people.
So, let me tell you who I am and what this is, because I haven’t said it all in one place.
Who I Am
I didn’t get here in a straight line. I got here by running two full lives at once.
A Flight Engineer on CH-47 Chinooks in the Army National Guard and worked civilian jobs in operations, administration, and other departments at the same time. Not before the Guard, not after. Alongside it. There was a stretch where that meant twenty-hour days were the schedule. Eventually, I shifted to a part-time civilian role so the math was a little better, but even then it was more than a full-time load between the two, not including all the time away from work and family for additional requirements like training and deployments.
I started Fly Fearless in 2021 while I was still living that split. In 2024, I went all in. Not because the timing was perfect. It never is, but because I’d watched enough talented people, including myself, build a life that ran them instead of the other way around.
Through all that and my own personal development journey, I learned how systems work. Not the version you read about in a business book. The version where you build a process that includes the people on the other end of it. A good process isn’t cold. It’s how you make sure your heart shows up every step in the process. That’s what I bring to clients’ businesses now.
What I Do
I look at every single touchpoint a client has with your business, from the first time they hear your name to the day they leave a review, and I help you build something that actually reflects who you are and what you’re capable of. It’s called Heart-First Client ArchitectureTM.
That’s the work. Onboarding. Communication. Follow-up. The invisible infrastructure that either makes your clients feel taken care of or makes them wonder what’s going on. Most service providers have never looked at this as a system. They just react to it, day by day, client by client, and call that customer service.
I call it a business you build from the inside out. And the best part? The work overlaps with employees, contractors, and vendors.
Why It Works
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. It’s built around you. Your actual voice and the way you want to show up for people. Then we build the structure around that instead of asking you to adapt to someone else’s system.
That’s why it works. A system built from your heart rather than fighting against it. Your clients feel the difference, and you get to show up for the work itself again, instead of what’s left over after managing everything else.
It’s how business becomes fun and joyful again.
Where This Is Going
I built Fly Fearless because I believe the business you imagined at the start is still buildable. Not as a fantasy you outgrew, but as an actual outcome of doing the infrastructure work most people skip.
If you’ve been reading this arc and something in it landed, that’s not a coincidence. That’s what it feels like when someone names the exact friction you’ve been living with and shows you it’s not permanent.
I work with service-based business owners who are ready to stop running their business by default and start running it on purpose. Sometimes that’s through an 8-week engagement where we build your entire client lifecycle together. Sometimes it’s a few hours of focused consulting on the one piece that’s costing you the most. Either way, it starts with a conversation about what you actually imagined when you started this.
If you’re ready to have that conversation, schedule a free consultation. Comment below what’s been the hardest part to hold onto.
The business you imagined is still there. Let’s go build it.
